Sun Splash Water Park – Cape Coral FL

The temperature is rising in Southwest Florida, but fear not, Sun Splash is open. Until August 20th, Sun Splash Family Water Park will be open every day of the week from 10 AM until 6 PM (9PM on Thursday and Saturdays). You can kick up your heels and relax in an innertube on the quarter mile lazy river, or amp up your experience by zipping down the 427 foot, twisting and turning, five-story high Electric Water Slide, sponsored by the Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC) and Pepsi. Bring the kids over to the Tot Spot and absorb your child’s delightful water play, as this shallow pool offers multiple interactive climbers and slides. There are plenty of other activities for those kids that are too young for the Tot Spot, but not quite old enough to handle the quick moving and sometimes scary water slides, such as the Lily Pads where kids grab an overhead mesh and try to hop across the floating pads from one side of the pool to the other. There’s also the Pro Racers, where there are six slides side by side the end in an 18 inch deep pool, and kids under 48 inches tall can speed down and race the other children. After a few hours of water fun and the scorching hot sun, hunger may start to settle in. You can head over to the Calypso Cafe where you’ll find those nostalgic summertime treats such as hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream. Should you want to leave for lunch and return later in the afternoon, you can have your hand stamped and avoid paying the entry fee again.

The burning question now is, “How much is admission?” The price for the entire day is only $14.95, $12.95 for children under 48 inches, $4.95 for children under two years old, and $8.95 for age 55 and older, plus one dollar for parking. That’s not too bad for the whole day, especially when you compare it to the price of an admission ticket and concessions at the local movie theater. And what’s better than spending time with your kids, watching them laugh and play, breathing in some fresh air and work on your tan at the same time?

So when you’re trying to figure out what to do this weekend, why not head to Sun Splash Family Water Park at 400 Santa Barbara Blvd in Cape Coral, FL? conveniently located in the middle of Cape Coral, it’s certain to be splashin’ family fun for everyone.
