Supplement Guide to Ester-E

Undoubtedly, you’ve heard of the supplement called Ester-C, a widely touted form of Vitamin C. There is however, a new supplement on the market called, Ester-E. Vitamin E has long been used by many practitioners as a natural way to support the immune and cardiovascular systems. It is possible, however, to have too much Vitamin E, and you should always check with your doctor before adding any new supplement to your diet. Vitamin E can cause potentially harmful side-effects when combined with certain medications.

There are several different brands of Ester-E, but the supplement is typically created by a natural process to ensure that you are getting the most pure form of Vitamin E on the market. The main manufacturer of Ester-E is a company called Zila Nutraceuticals, the same company that brought us Ester-C. According to their documentation, Ester-E is formed, “when natural d-alpha tocopherol is joined to a phosphate molecule during an exclusive, patented-protected process. The antioxidant potential of vitamin E is protected during absorption, transport and storage in the body to ensure delivery of the nutritional benefits of this essential nutrient when needed.”

To put this into plan English, this particular form of Vitamin E is processed in such a way that more of the natural benefits of the supplement are preserved. The typical recommended dosage of any Vitamin E supplement ranges from 100 to 1000 IU’s, or International Units. It is not a good idea to exceed this recommended dosage, since serious side effects may occur. According to several different studies, extreme amounts of Vitamin E have been linked with an early death.

However, if you stick to the recommended dosage and follow your doctor’s guidelines, Ester-E can actually be very beneficial. When taken correctly, studies have found that Vitamin E can assist in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease, help with vision problems and even heart problems. The reason that these results occur may be due to the way that Vitamin E protects the body’s cell membranes as well as LDL or the “bad cholesterol” as it is commonly called. By protecting LDL from damage, Vitamin E helps flush it from your body whole, instead of allowing it to break apart.

Vita Nutraceuticals recommends taking your daily dose of Ester-E with a meal that includes some form of fat. This is due to the fact that Vitamin E is more readily absorbed when combined with fat. It is considered “fat soluble” and this assists in the delivery of the supplement to your body’s cells.

Vitamin E is commonly called an “essential nutrient” due to the fact that human beings cannot create it on our own. We are dependent on our natural diet, or better yet, on supplements to supply this important resource for our bodies. Vitamin E, and in particular, Ester-E can be found in soy, corn or canola oil. Some companies manufacture Vitamin E, which can reduce its overall effectiveness. If you are looking for a natural way to add Vitamin E to your diet, Ester-E may just be the supplement you’re looking for.
