Well, it’s that time of year again. Summer is now unofficially over, the trees are already starting to turn, and Halloween is just around the corner. Have you decided what you’re going to go as this year? If not, here’s a list of costume ideas to get you started.

1. The Pirates of the Caribbean proved yet again this summer how much fun and sexy pirates are. So pull out the pantaloons and scabards and go as Captain Jack Sparrow this year. Make a splashing entrance at any party this year, with a tri-cornered hat, an eyepatch, and a HAR, HAR, HAR!

2. Dressing up as popular television characters is a great way to make an impression at your Halloween bash. Sponge-Bob Squarepants, Marge and Homer Simpson from “The Simpsons,” Tony and Carmela Soprano, Captain Kirk, or characters from “Desperate Houswives” would make fun Halloween costumes that’ll get people talking.

3. Witches are traditional and fun Halloween costumes for anyone of any age. What’s more, you can find them at any costume store or make one of your own using your favorite, sexy black dress, fish-net stockings, witch hat, and broomstick!

4. If you want more costume ideas then take a page from your history book. Flapper costumes from the 1920s are great, sexy, and fun. Or how about dressing up like a hippie from the 1960s or doing the hustle in a John Travolta 1970s era Disco suit to get you started!
