The 3-Apple-a-Day Plan

The 3-Apple-a-Day Plan is an eating plan- not a diet- that we can live with. It doesn’t involve taking expensive pills or supplements that might harm our health. Instead, it’s a simple way you can actually eat MORE- you MUST eat three apples a day- and lose weight at the same time.

The 3-Apple-a-Day Plan has already helped thousands of men, women, and children almost effortlessly lose weight. There are four basic steps to follow, and most anyone can do them!

First, you must eat one apple before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It doesn’t matter if you prefer Golden Delicious or JonaGolds apples, the specific type is up to you. Why eat apples? Because apples help you feel full so you don’t overeat when you sit down to eat a meal. They also help our bodies burn fat. For example, an apple that’s about the size of a tennis ball contains about five grams of fiber. Our bodies need fiber in order to keep our digestive systems working smoothly.

Apples also contain Pectin. Pectin helps lower bad cholesterol levels in our bodies. It also is good for soothing a sore throat!

According to a Mayo Clinic study, apples have been shown to help reduce the risk of certain cancers, like prostate, colon, and lung cancers. In fact, The National Cancer Institute reports that eating apples and other foods that contain flavonoids “may reduce the risk of lung cancer by as much as 50 percent.”

Not only that, but British studies have revealed that people who eat at least five apples a week have “better lung functions.” Eating five apples a week also helps reduce the risk of respiratory ailments and heart disease.

Second, if you follow The 3-Apple-a-Day-Plan, you’ll need to drink plenty of water on a daily basis. The amount of water you’ll need to drink, whether it be eight or ten glasses, depends on your current weight.

Third, in order to lose weight, you’ll need to exercise. Your exercise plan can be as simple as walking for thirty minutes a day. Exercising will help your body burn calories, increase your energy levels, and improve your stamina.

If you’re not used to that much walking, start out slowly. Start out by walking ten to fifteen minutes a day. Then, increase your walking time as your body gets used to it.

If you have health problems, then talk to your healthcare professional about what type of exercise would be the best for you. He or she may recommend joining a health club, taking Aerobics classes, or other activities such as bike riding or swimming.
