I ended up buying Estee Lauder Self Tanner after I ran to Macy’s to buy some Estee Lauder Go Bronze and was told they were out because it had been recalled. I was a little put out, but took some advise from the sales clerk and decided to give their similar product a try. I was prepared to be completely disappointed because I had been using the Go Bronze for years. All of my memories of self tanner products were terrible. I took my Estee Lauder Self Tanner home and read the bottle. Application is just like any other self-tanning product. Exfoliate and apply evenly and carefully, blah, blah, blah. So, I applied my first coat. You don’t see anything when this product goes on. I usually bought the Go Bronze because it is brown tinted and you can see it as you apply. Jumping the gun a little I applied a second coat of the sunless tanner because I thought nothing was going to happen.
About three hours later I began to notice a beautiful natural brown looking tan quickly showing up. I was so happy. Now, I thought that the Estee Lauder Sunless Tan was looking great, but I wasn’t the only one. I was leaving on a trip to visit family and go to the beach. When I got in town I received more compliments than I ever have from my family. We are not to into telling each other we look good or whatever. Everyone complimented me on my natural glow and kept saying I looked great. I was so happy! I am very pale and am living up North now where I get very little sun.
The ultimate recognition that Estee Lauder Self Tanner was a fabulous product came when my own mother decided to purchase a bottle. A bottle cost just under $30 now, at about $28.50. That is a little pricey, but if you have a special event or even just want to look good for the summer it is well worth it. After my mother applied it everyone began to notice she was looking nice and tan as well.

I like to apply one coat every other day in the summer. In the winter once to twice a week works well. I am completely sold on this product because it is easy to apply, looks natural, and rarely streaks. I do recommend that you apply one coat of self tanner and wait until the next day to see how it looks. Then apply more coats as needed. They do make Estee Lauder Sunless Tan for the face in a smaller bottle, but I just use the body lotion on my face as well. I have never broken out, but I do not have any problems with breakouts and acne.
