The Best Time to Go to Disney World

I think it is safe to say that everyone wants to know when is the best time to go to Walt Disney World. I get this question a lot from various people because I have been to Disney World so many times I have lost count. So here it is, the best time to go to Disney World is December excluding the week of Christmas and the week after and then all the way up to the beginning of March.

Now you are probably curious at why I say this is the best time to go to Walt Disney World. The reason I say this is the best time is because it is considered the “off-season”. The benefits of the off-season are smaller crowds, which means shorter lines to all your favorite rides. Also the weather is a lot more bearable in the winter months in Florida than the hot humid weather during the summer.

Another great reason to head down to Orlando at this time of year is because the hotels are a lot cheaper. For example, you can stay at one of the four Disney Value Resorts for as low as $79 a night. If you stay there during the regular season rooms start at $99 a night. So you can save $20 a night.

I know a lot of people are thinking that’s not good for me because the kids have school and I have things to do at work. Well I know that some school districts like Georgia for example have a break in February. So if the schools in your area do as well, why not plan a family vacation down to the happiest place on earth.

Lastly, if you come to Disney World at this time of year the gas prices will be a lot cheaper. We all know in the summer months gas shoots up in price. So instead of spending a small fortune on filling up your tank, you could spend the money on a fancy dinner or a souvenir.

So if you and your family hate crowds, longs lines and dealing with the hot Florida weather. You may want to consider heading down to Walt Disney World this winter. I guarantee you will have a great time.
