The Holy Gospel in the Modern World of XXI Century – Part 2

“âÂ?¦That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.”

When ancient writer say Jesus’ words in this sentence, he allude on the Old Testament Christian reality; not only by linking of parable stories from Jesus’ speech, but also by admiring to saga, to tradition about genesis of visible world and Universe, tradition of Old Testament. Every man who had read a few first books of Holy Bible, and Old Testament in general, knows that text is not so rich like modern explanations of science (specially physics), but it is very hard, solid and persuasive, conceivable, while talks about relations of world and a man, of God and a man, about invisible and unknown things. For history of our civilization, encounter of God and a man hadn’t been ever happen, and our science doesn’t know much about being and nature of God. But, in Old Testament, God speaks with human persons, fathers of Jews nation and good men from their rows. Still, writer of the Holy Gospel still talks about “secrets from the foundation of the world”, and that means: God still has a lot of secrets for mankindâÂ?¦

“And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, they need not depart; give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, we have here but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, bring them hither to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to [his] disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.”

On the beginning of religion, it was very important in ancient time for prophets and some priests to make miracles in matters of religion and even matters of social life. But this is something different, because I think that writer wants to make connection with story from the Old Testament. When we talk about miracles in Holy Bible rejecting and discarding stories like this makes are pretty far from historical and social truth.

Writer only said that Jesus blessed breads and fish, and he didn’t give full information about this miracle. But we can still see the connection with Moses, with Old Testament, connection with story about God’s bread, with bread which had been felt from sky near to settlement, every morning and every night again. We know much more about characteristics of that food which was blessed: breads were little and rounded, almost delicious, sweet and mellow – that bread was enough to feed all settlement, and brad was very good and delicious. When we read that books of the Old Testament, we can almost clearly see some pattern on a surface of that story, some truly construction. St Matthew wants to connect Jesus with Moses and the Old Testament, and he talks about miracle of breads and fishes. Really loss and disadvantage represents the fact that he didn’t say much more about this occasions, except that Jesus blessed food for people.

“âÂ?¦Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”

Before this place, Jesus talks about his near, his almost immediate arrival in Jerusalem, about his way of suffering for sins of humanity, for sins of mankind, etc. But, in the end of that speech, he displays one so human, characteristically so human word, word about purpose and result of his victim, as soon as possible. Every generation of humans knows main characteristics from family history, from town or city, or national or even global history. But every new generation every new time, so much times in history, need a settlement, a solution in their mind (in our mind) – every new human each time again need some idea like final, definite idea, like ideal from now to the all eternity. Today, such ideas (ideals) are European Union, or global World Democracy. Yes, Jesus was part of that mind, part of almost fantastic vision of close future like future, in this example, future of Kingdom of Heaven. Young and proud Jesus took apart in a dream, in an eternal dream of a mankind.
There is one more reason for evaluation of this sentence. Kingdom of Heaven is important matter in Holy Bible, and also an important matter for every believer. In this place, please acknowledge that Kingdom of Heaven is in Jesus’ preambles very near, very close, and, in same moment, very far, in far future of mankind. Main reason for that is described mankind ideal, and Jesus’ strong will and human wish to help to every man, to all the people, as sun as it is possible. In other place of Gospel, he talks about far, far wars and catastrophes before down of Heaven, and we can find that like description in the Book of Apocalypse. That is the best way to interpret this Jesus’ words.

“Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

This is important sentence. Christian religion (based on Jesus’ words) tells that is more important eternal life in Heaven then human life on Earth. Every young Christian in his (her) early Christian days somehow see that it is correct, but in the same time every believer make some other conclusion, almost with automatism: it is important Christian picture about eternal life of human soul, but I’ll “forget that”, and that means: I believe in God and Heaven, but I’ll a hundred percent hard present in this, in life on Earth – values and goods in this life, life of human body, are strong, motley and dapple, we can see all that things even with one easy sight! That means, I believe, but I also strong “believe” in things which I see at first sight, here on Earth. But, young man becomes a middle age man, than an old man, and after a thousands and thousands resolved problems and situations, after hard life (every man has some tough moments), and then every human see truth about game with faith, game for every living man again: imperceptible and almost insensible, little by little, less by less, a full price for Christian eternal life is already paid, and time resolved human life like full circle to main religion principle. But don’t worry, God created man and believer on such way, and that human reaction is expected for God – this is world of experience, a hard and tough world, and eternal life of human soul can help to people not to be disappointed.

“And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify [him:] and the third day he shall rise again.”
In this section, Jesus talks about end of his life on Earth, about destiny which can’t be a destiny of any other man. But, it is not important only precision of his words about close events, about occasions in city of Jerusalem where he went. We will discuss about danger situation as danger political situations for many people in many nations, in many centuries.
When we ask why Pharisees and scribers want to kill Jesus, it is not enough only to say: he is their opponent, rival and antagonist in religion matters (in centuries of the New Age equivalent for that is political enemy), and they can’t defeat Jesus, so they want to kill him. That is good description for such event, but we still have not essential nature of such occasions.
A few pages before in this article, we discuss about premeditation of some social events as about knowledge, conclusion as every other conclusion, pure human knowledge. That part explains a “layer of logic”, describes and explains logic of misunderstanding, of selection opponent, logic of event such as political murder. But, logic is logic, and we can still ask, but why? Answer on that question exceeds even absolute knowledge about human consciousness, about consciousness in human brain – answer is in big cloud of biological mass and structure not only, and not exclusive in human consciousness, in big cloud of biological mentality like mentality of predator and victim at same time, huge space of reacting on any possible occasion. For every murder with premeditation, real cause is in wild nature of only temporary “peaceful” human brain, big biological cloud of reacting and overreacting, and “logic” with reasons and secret explanations in consciousness is only a final mask of social murders, something what we call political murders in social being.

“Jesus said unto them, did ye never read in the scriptures, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?”

This observation is important because Jesus talks about develop of idea, in first time about weak fire of some new, brand new social (and also religion, or political) idea like weak flame, which becomes overall, general, almost universal idea and strong social movement, flow. In the first century, Christianity was weak religion in first develop, but a few centuries latter, with strong church and feudalism, Christianity became leading world religion. Old Israelites, fathers of old Israel, in beginning of monotheism, made on the beginning so weak ideas about one God, one Heaven, one man’s will, but, monotheism is today almost the only way of thinking about religion, in religion life of many communities. Jesus was certain in his idea about global religion of the future, based on his doctrine.

“Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in [his] talk. And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teach the way of God in truth, neither cares thou for any [man:] for thou regard not the person of men.”

We discuss about this on a few places before – like every young man, Jesus in his speak do not care about titles, about positions, about tough places for important people in ancient social life. But, in the same time, well experienced scribers, priests and other very old and well educated men, can’t to take Jesus or his words, his doctrine, in a trap! It is interesting that young Jesus fights by power of his arguments all old and educated people near him!

“Tell us therefore, what think thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, why tempt ye me, [ye] hypocrites? Show me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. And he said unto them, whose [is] this image and superscription? They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then said he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. When they had heard [these words,] they marveled, and left him, and went their way.”

This is so well known, for atheists and believers both, sentence about state tributes, “render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s” But, we can discuss not only about that meaning of Jesus’ words, but also about the whole world of ancient time of the Holy Bible.

In modern time, paying taxes is normal way of communication with state – we finance roads, hospitals, army, etc. Also, we argue about difficulties of home budget with sometimes heavy weight of tributes. Also, we can think about priests, Sadducees, Pharisees, and scribers in the New Testament like about people with poor faith. But, that is not correct! Please look: they ask Jesus about tax money, and they don’t think about roads, hospitals, schools, they even do not think about heavy weight of tribute for their wallets, but they think about accord, about compliance of Caesar’s tribute with their religion, with their faith! That is the most important! And who today, in modern world, have such faith like that Pharisees? But we must say, Jesus’ faith was even much, much bigger!

“The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. And last of all a woman died also. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? For they all had her. Jesus answered and said unto them, ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, or the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. And when the multitude heard [this,] they were astonished at his doctrine.”

Doctrine of the Sadducees has the same problem with doctrine of atheists, when they all say that there is no soul in human being – in their brains, their human soul as a pure consciousness is saying words about inexistence of that soul in their bodies! It is simple to understand that human soul is transcendent in human nature and in human body, but when we say: there is no soul, we are making and talking that opinion – from our pure human soul.

Jesus is a hundred percent right when he says that in Heaven exist only adult human forms of out soul, without relatives, without families, without wives and husbands, etc. Don’t get into the trap, don’t understand me wrong: probably, it will be possible to share memories and relations from Earth’s life, but there won’t be years, ages, generations, etc. That means, you will be with your relatives in Heaven, but human characteristics like age, parent ship, generation, sex, nationality, etc., are important only on Earth. But, don’t forget – even on Earth, human being is a binary being with one component as human soul, so, your childhood, your parent ship, your nationality etc. are still with one side matter of World of Heaven!

About resurrection. In earlier philosophical essay called “Christian belief in the Modern World of Science and Philosophy” I argued about resurrection, and I almost proofed that there is not resurrection in body, but only in soul. Answer is simple: because human body exchanges energy with Earth and atmosphere, during the time body get bad. If there is resurrection in body, it must be infinite numbers of resurrection! That’s why, there is only resurrection in soul. But, don’t worry: what is human soul? Human soul is a hundred percent pure human consciousness with feelings, thoughts and memories – with human soul, you can love other people, share good things and joy. So, don’t worry about eternal life in Heaven: every good feeling and thought, every good memory and joy in this world, will surely exist in World of Heaven! And, don’t believe to atheists or SadduceesâÂ?¦

“Then spoke Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, saying, the scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: all therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, [that] observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay [them] on men’s shoulders; but they [themselves] will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, [even] Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in Heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, [even] Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.”

Try to imagine ancient world in Galilee, in Judea, try to imagine tough, hard Roman politics, politics only in a hands of the Roman Empire, but also, Jews which are not interested in that politics, but only in social matter of religion and Holy Bible, like only “politics” worth to discussions of men. Few sentences before, I represented Pharisees and scribers like people with strong faith (like tough Christian faith in ancient and Middle Age time), but not strong as Jesus’ faith. But, in this place, I want to discuss something other. Romans have politics and state and state policy in their hands, and Jews do not. But, they have something just like in politics, something in their religion matters and argue – scribers, priests, Pharisees, all of them still want to “carry away”, they want to “beat victory”, they want invisible spirit of social prestige, they want to be “Rabbi”, they want to “be the first”, they want to “take breath”! You know what I’m saying – many frustrations and defeats people through political and social history persist, and when they reach invisible “spirit”, “purpose” of social or political victory, they are absolutely on top of the world. That’s why Pharisees and scribers do these things and Jesus talks about it, but reason is this, and reason is not their bad faith!

“And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] for to show him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, see ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, which shall not be thrown down.”

Before this part, Jesus talks about destruction of Jerusalem, and then comes this part with description of destiny of temple. What is main conclusion?

In this world, only (good) ideas are (relatively) eternal. Jerusalem shared the destiny of many cities in history, even with strong, eternal ancient Rome, which had been took over by barbarians. Idea about hard destinies of cities is (relatively) eternal (for this world), but also eternal is idea of Rome, Jerusalem, Belgrade, Athens, etc. – cities are burning in fire, but they rise again, every time again, aren’t they? Idea such as Jerusalem is so strong, and that’s why that city is stronger than wars, fires, water, from social and natural strength.

When we talk about (almost eternal) ideas, it is interesting to talk once more about idea of human face. In earlier essay (“Christian BeliefâÂ?¦”), I have discussed about aesthetics in Christianity, and I said that human face is pretty like “spine-balance” of opponent aesthetical forces, and I said that there is visible sign by God on every human face, an “impress”. But, it is interesting that, without consideration on history time, (almost eternal) idea of human face with that aesthetics is always valid, always same – time didn’t deprave in our DNA (as creation of God) idea about pretty people – we are not through the centuries much more prettier then our forefathers, but opposite conclusion is not valid, too! So, we can say that God’s will about human aesthetics, in frame of Earth history, represent some of “eternal” ideas in this world. And so on, Jerusalem was in war and in fire, but “idea Jerusalem” beat the time, and Jerusalem is present even now days.

“And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, tell us, when shall these things be? And what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso read, let him understand), then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto hem that are with child, and to them that give suck in those times! But pray ye that your flight be not in the inter, neither on the Sabbath day: For then shall ye great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, [he is] in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe [it] not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shine even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For where so ever the car case is, there will the eagles be gathered together.”

This section says a lot about near and also about far future of mankind, about terrible future of mankind in war and natural catastrophes. What is catastrophe in peace, and what is catastrophe during a war? Can you fix your road, school, water barrage, etc., took by natural catastrophe, during a war, or only in peace? Yes, war is double danger, because war doesn’t give opportunity for people to defend themselves from natural catastrophes.

But, Jesus talks about different war, about different catastrophes – he is talking about the same events whose are well described in the last book of the New Testament of the Holy Bible, in the Book of the Apocalypse. In that book is well described War of Armageddon, war of future nations with devastating effects. With that war, new devastating natural and social catastrophes will arrive in history of the mankind.

Earlier in this essay, we made a conclusion that Jesus puts these events in short, and in same time in long period of a human history, and than we said that it will be (however) a long period of time. I will discuss about the Book of Apocalypse and about War of Armageddon in single special essay in close future, and, until that time, I’ll not talk about that issue – this section is presented only as preamble for that (close future) essay.

“âÂ?¦Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”

In these sentences, there is talk about solidarity with humans in danger, not only by Jesus Christ, but also solidarity and mercy by God. That is diversity in human nature, deep in our huge brain mass: every authority in human history had some kind of police, military, paramilitary, and that is not occasionally, because violence by authority and state has roots in structure of social being with huge historical period of such things which became part of a cultural layer in society, with strong connection in human nature, human being as itself. Yes, but in the same time human nature (and also nature of social being) makes that every time there is some tear of solidarity and thinking opposite to thinking of force above human persons. Of course, political or social event is not at all the only reason why is somebody hungry, thirsty, ill, naked, etc. But, some kinds of solidarity, like weed of humanity which can’t be destroyed, always exist.

In these sentences, Jesus explicit says that God has solidarity for human drama, he explicit says about God’s god will to help humans, and to renounce consequences of human harms. After that, in the next place in a Gospel, resolves this parabola and talks openly.

“âÂ?¦O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt.]. And he cometh unto the disciples, and found them asleepâÂ?¦”

Before this sentence, Jesus talks about Passover, about his blood for the New Testament between God and humans. He is telling that the Holy Gospel will be well known for all nations and generations. St. Matthew writes about agreement between high priest Caiaphas and Judas Iscariot for betrayal of Jesus Christ. Many people claim that Judas betrayed Jesus from his hearth, but I think it wasn’t from the hearth, but it was from his brain – in some way, Judas was weak because of religion, spiritual, social and psychological advantage of Jesus Christ as Rabbi and teacher – pressure was too hard for Judas, and like in every murder, advantage of Jesus could be gone with his superior being; every possible murder has same simple pattern: advantage of victim will be gone with her (his) brain cells after that murder.

Jesus knew exactly precise that he will be crucified, and in his prayer he asked God to prevent that sad event. But, pray is only pray – God leads and saves the mankind and people in many situations, but, if you want to find the root of evil things, ask yourself not about will of God, but about characteristics of philosophical being, human being, social being, and being of heavy dark cloud of human brain.

“And while he yet spoke, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.”

Judas was in passion, probably through many nights he dreamed that he teaches multitudes, and he dreamed that he is brave Rabbi, his psychology was in dark labyrinth of weakness and strong power of his minds in same time. And then, when he betrayed Jesus, with simple plain kiss, that kiss meant: yes, Jesus, you’re a brave Rabbi, your doctrine is doctrine of true and rightness, but I can’t keep the pressure any more, and now it is easy, now, in this moment of betray.

“In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.”

During the all story of the Holy Gospel, Jesus was pretty verbally aggressive to scribers, priest, Pharisees, but now, in this moment, he is calm and absolutely righteous. What that means? He was verbally aggressive not for reasons of his nature and psychology, but for reasons of his righteous doctrine. Now he is calm, and even when he knows about strong punish for him, he tries to talk with reasons of justice, absolute still and calm.

“Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, [yet] found they none.”

Every false process is just the same, even today, isn’t it? False witnesses, false arguments, false exhibitsâÂ?¦ False lawsuit are always the same because same is inner being of human psychology – the Council need, all of them strongly needs evidences, witnesses, process. Do I must to say that Jesus will be (surely) – guilty?

“And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus said unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of Heaven. Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, he hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. What think ye? They answered and said, he is guilty of death.”

By the way, things are however changing from time to time – Jesus Christ made a new religion, Christianity, but he was not made blasphemy, according now days (modern) standards. Did he make a blasphemy? Did he insult religion about one living God, or God? No, he didn’t (in accord with modern laws). But, ancient time was a time of the ancient low and society. Insults of religion were possible in ancient time of the Holy Bible, and insults are possible even today (insults are always possible). But Jesus’ talk is a plain talk about humanity, God, low, Kingdom of Heaven, etc. Accusation about blasphemy was weak in that case even in that moment – that accusation was planed as an instrument for releasing by heavy, popular and smart opponent in religion life and issues of Holy Bible. In measurement of that time, accusation about blasphemy is formally valid, but in same time is very, very weak.

“Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, what [is that] to us? See thou [to that.] And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.”

When I discussed about possible Judas’ motives for giving Jesus to a hands of temple soldiers, I didn’t say that Judas’ position is simple, that his position is not complex. However, Judas had a difficult time first to suffer in shadow of Jesus, and after that, to suffer in shadow of his own (and of course Jesus’) doctrine and conscience (scruple). Those situations are always difficult – before managing of some evil performance, offender always see only, and absolutely only, logical line which he want to “repair” in his window to social being. After that, he sees everything (else)âÂ?¦

“And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou said. And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Then said Pilate unto him, hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marveled greatly.”

I had talk about this before. Roman’s are interested in politics. Roman’s are interested in state and state policy. Christianity? Judaism? Pilate is cold: he really asks, after everything in Judea and Galilee, really asks Jesus “are you – the One”! Monotheism is far for Pilate just as Caesar in Rome, or some other man or thing in second place on the Globe. But, Pilate is interested, suddenly hard interested in Jesus, in his reason, in his personality – does can stranger Pilate to be Jesus strongest ally?

“Pilate saith unto them, what shall I do then with Jesus who is called Christ? [They] all say unto him, let him be crucified. And the governor said, why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.”

This sentence is not for philosophical essay, but it is for social psychology. The mass, a multitude, now only loudly speak the same sentence, again and always again just same sentence. The process is not important any more, anybody have not his own singular mind any more, probably even high priests not – exist only crowd, big crowd of people calling deathâÂ?¦
After this part, St. Matthew describes arrogance of legionnaires and crowd, torture, crucifix and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That material is explicit strong violent, and almost has a documentary, and of course historic value. I’ll not comment those sentences.

3. Conclusion – Is it Possible to Believe in XXI Century?

Human knowledge is in general like spider’s web – when you know something, you know it well, when you know some part of something, you ask yourself about rest of that matter, trying to reach the knowledge – when you don’t know something, when you don’t know any part of some matter, you have the most possible difficult task in the world, every time again (in such situation).

When we are talking about World of Heaven, we are in that situation – strong knowledge is so far from us, and we only have weak logical conclusions (with huge efforts). Every knowledge (about that matter) in such situation is worth a ten time plus. And try to understand effort of several thousand years, effort of thinkers and writers of the Holy Bible, Old Testament and New Testament – their work is not only documentary, but also philosophically, extremely and very, very important – they have made conclusions about invisible structure well hidden from human mind, well hidden from any human conclusion, like ragged place in spider’s web, or, better to say, unfinished part of spider’s web.

You can read the Holy Gospel like documentary, historical, social, religion, or literature value – you will not be in wrong. Don’t expect too much – hard document, unpleasant for reading and understanding, will very soon wake in you some atheistic question, deep in your being. It is absolutely normal – when we talk about layer of minding, consciousness, feelings, being, and in other hand layer of culture, history, society, and every other content in your mind, in your brain, where is a border? We can ask: where is a border? I mean, consciousness makes culture and history, and every social form is consequence of time-historical consciousness (one place, in one time, somewhere in a history). And, culture, history, social science, and even plain social talk with your neighbor controls your mind, your minding, and your consciousness. This is simple explanation, but don’t be in mistake – border place of human being and social being has the same determination as light of focus point of human mind, a place of contact human brain and human soul, as consciousness of man. Social answer is (it will be) answer of human consciousness, answer about human being. That is a place for religion, place for understanding a purpose.
That’s why, when in your culture, in your city, in your history, just in yours one plain cloudy day, atheism come in your mind, you must know: that mind is passable and weak just as our knowledge about God and Heaven.

Content in our consciousness is not accidental in any moment, even if we think that he is. So, use a time when you think positively about Christianity, and then try to realize ideas in Christian truth, whenever misunderstandings keep you far from clear picture.
