The Hottest TV Actress: Shandi Finnessey, The Host With the Most

Throughout the years the movies have introduced us to the world of glamorous people. Those we all wish we looked like or wanted to be because they are so handsome or beautiful in one way or another. In later years as the evolution of the television came along and those big screen actors started being noticed on commercials and daytime television programs.

There are so many “hot” men and women on television today it is hard to pick just one. Throughout all the cable channels out there, the GSN network has one of the most beautiful women on television, and though not a movie actress, she still plays a big roll on television.

Shandi Finnessey is currently the host of the widely-popular game show “Playmania” which airs on the GSN network, as well as co-host with Chuck Woolery on the game show “Lingo”. This five-foot ten-inch blonde-haired blue-eyed beauty was born in Florissant, Missouri. She is 26 years old and holds a B.S. from Lindenwood University in Psychology and is working towards a Masters degree in Counseling.

Shandi was crowned Miss USA being the first Miss Missouri to be given this title in 2004, as well as becoming first runner up in the Miss Universe that same year. Shandi was also involved in research for androgyny and was published in the SEPA Journal in 1999. In 2002, Shandi published a children’s book entitled “Furrtails” in 2002.

Shandi Finnessey has been around television for some time now and her list of credits include several television commercials. One of which was for the upcoming season for “Lingo”, the show that she co-hosts. In 2003, Shandi was in a commercial for Anheuser- Busch and also for Pine Valley Spring Water.

Shandi has made guest appearances on many programs such as “CNN Live”, “Fox News Live”, “Scarborough Country”, “Best Damn Sports Show”, and “Regis and Kelly”. She did a personal interview for the E! Network they used in making a true Hollywood story behind the scenes of a beauty pageant.

Shandi co-Hosted the presidential inauguration in 2005 with Tommy Lasorda and Patty Labelle. Shandi has been host on the Ultimate Blackjack Tour and Starz on Demand.
In 2005, Shandi had a walk on roll on the daytime soap opera “Passions” and a guest appearance on the television show “The Apprentice.”

Among all these accomplishments, Shandi loves working with children, writing children stories and working on novels. Shandi is a student of classical piano and violin. She also scuba dives and snorkels as a hobby.

Shandi goes around the country doing motivational speaking and still finds time for modeling and fashion, which is one of her greatest loves.

Recently Shandi joined forces with Wayne Newton on a USO tour in support of the men and women troops of the United States. They toured military bases and hospitals all across the US as well as abroad in hopes to uplift those serving our country.

Shandi is one of the biggest advocates against breast and ovarian cancer and tours all over the world giving motivational speeches which she has raised over 30 million dollars for this cause in her attempts to educate the world on these diseases.
