The Iceberg – an Epitome of Depth

The Iceberg – An Epitome of Depth

The thought of an iceberg
Brings to mind,
The feeling of cold and freeze
And the potrait of a somber mood
From the exterior, the iceberg
Is just a mass
Of floating ice,
With a bluish tinge.

However,it’s depth
Is only one-ninth visible
And when hit,
Can sink a Titanic.

There are people
Who are the epitome
Of humility and integrity
Yet, these qualities,
Rarely catch the eyes
Of the common man,
Who sees things
Black and White.

Our eyes can beguile
Yet, not our brain
Behold, the depth in
The iceberg and the people,
Lest your mind
Will fail to capture
The best things that,
Life has to offer.
