The Savannah House: A Hotel with the Ammenities of a Bed-and-Breakfast

Rising into the sky, The Savannah House in Branson, Missouri has the graceful lines and look of a classic Southern mansion. Each day begins with a full breakfast buffet that features twenty five items from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. Guests can choose from scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, hot biscuits, English muffins, French toast, raisin bread, donuts, bagels with cream cheese, fresh fruit, yogurts, custom made Belgian waffles, toast, juices, milk, cereal choices, coffee, tea, and cappachino. Although the hot breakfast ends at ten each morning, the coffee and the cappachino are available around the clock.

Breakfast can be enjoyed at one of several tables in the parlor-like area. A fireplace, book lined shelves, and tasteful decor offer a home-like appeal. Couches and comfortablel chairs make this a place to gather or to meet new friends. Books can be borrowed and enjoyed during the stay. Additional seating in a spacious adjoining room with crystal chandeliers allows room to spread out. A few patio tables outside on the veranda also provide a fresh air setting for the morning meal.

Each evening ends with free ice cream and toppings, two flavors of hot cobbler, freshly baked cookies, and more. The evening snack is served from 9:30 until 11:30 pm. As guests return from a show or other area attraction, a late night snack is waiting.

Rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Each includes an iron and ironing board (perfect for the business traveler), hairdryer, large closet, table and chairs, and more. Rooms with Jacuzzi suites and one or two bedroom suites are also available. Daily maid service is provided and is impeccable. Staff members are ready to offer service with a smile.

The outdoor pool is clean and clear. Patio furniture is available for those who prefer sun bathing to swimming. With a location just off the beaten path, The Savannah House offers quiet solittude within minutes of all the action on Country Music Boulevard, Highway 76, also known as “The Strip”. The Savannah House is found on Expressway Lane just off the Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. The Mansion America Theater is next door and Jim Bakker tapes his television program weekdays across the street.
