I have to say do to the number of cleaning options that the Braun Oral B Professional Care Oral Care System comes with that it is the better buy than the Sonicare Elite 39500 Sonic Toothbrush.

One other feature that makes the Braun Oral B Professional Care Oral Care System a better buy than the Sonicare Elite 39500 Sonic toothbrush is that replacement heads cost less. The average price of a replacement head for the Braun Oral B Professional Care Oral Care System is $19.99, while replacement heads for the Sonicare Elite 39500 Sonic toothbrush will cost you $29.99.

The Sonicare Elite 39500 Sonic toothbrush and the Braun Oral B Professional Care Oral Care System both come with built in timers that keep you brushing your teeth. I like the timer on the Sonicare Elite 39500 Sonic toothbrush because it allows me to set a 30 second timer or a 2-minute timer. I thought the 30 second timer was silly when I first used it, but it is actually a good reminder if you want to brush you mouth in four different sections. The 30-second timer allows you to focus on one area for the entire time. I did not realize how long two minutes was before I used this electric toothbrush. The Braun Oral B Professional Care Oral Care System also has both a 30 second and two-minute timer as well.

My favorite feature of the Sonicare Elite 39500 Sonic toothbrush is the feature they call Easy Start. When I first tried an electric toothbrush my gums would bleed and be somewhat sore. It actually made me switch back to my regular manual toothbrush.
