I used the services at Tompkins Dental and it honestly started out decent; however, if I have to make a recommendation to someone I would most likely advise them to go somewhere else.
When I first went to get my teeth repaired I had a root canal done and a few weeks after that the permanent crown fell out. I assumed they had not properly installed it correctly; however, they recharged me for a new crown. Later they preformed a procedure on me similar to a root canal; however, it is not because the roots are still left in. I was given a crown to cover the tooth; however, I was under the impression I had a root canal. That was what I was told and it was stated on the bill; however, when my tooth started hurting again the doctor stated it was not a full root canal.
Anyways, after that I went to get my permanent crowns and they were no where to be found, they showed record of having them at the office; however, they seemed to be lost. So imagine my surprise when I received another bill for the same set of crowns. They lost them, not me. I believe that there was absolutely no reason why I should be charged for them. There was also a couple of times when I got a notice from my insurance company stating they were not going to pay to have the same tooth pulled twice. This may have been an honest accident; however, combined with everything else that happened with Tompkins Dental I have decided to just stay away from there.
One thing that I have to give credit to Tompkins Dental for is the kindness of the dental assistants. They have a few of them there and they are always pleasant and willing to help you in anyway possible. James Fey, DMD, and his staff can perform just about any type of dental assistance needed. They will repair broken or missing teeth, root canals, fill cavities, and use cosmetic dentistry to improve the general appearance of your teeth. According to their website, they can also give clients an oral sedation in the form of a pill; easing the pain of individuals who do not like to receive a novocain shot.

When searching for a quality dentist you may want to considering giving each dentist or dentist centers a try. Just because I may have had a bad experience with Tompkins Dental, does not necessarily mean that you will. If your dental insurance will cover the provider of your choice, you may want to think about using your first appointment, generally used to determine a plan of action, to decide if you like the establishment.
