I have been teaching flute and piano since leaving trinity college of music in 1971. I did a post graduate music teachers certificate(PGCE) in London before returning to plymouth to live. i teach private pupils in my own home although i have in the past taught at plymouth college for a while when my husband was music teacher their.
I teach beginners up to Diploma level on both Flute and piano. My musical taste is wide and I try to make lessons fun as well as instilling the need for a good technique. I have 3 grown up daughters , two of whom are musicians. i teach adults as well as children .�¯�¿�½

I teach students of all ages from Initial to Diploma level. Students are entered either for ABRSM or TCL exams. I also teach jazz piano (ABRSM). I have been an examiner, and now act as the syllabus setter and consultant for Trinity College, London on Electronic Organ. Theory and general musicianship at all levels are also available.�¯�¿�½

I am a graduate in joint honours from University of Glasgow where I studied music performance, composition and film studies. My main instrument is piano but I also play and teach violin and viola. I spent one year of my undergraduate degree at UNSW, Sydney where I studied composition and performance at both UNSW music school and workshops at the Sydney Conservatoire.
I enjoy teaching piano to students of all ages and all levels of experience and am always flexible as to a schedule and pace which suits my students. I have experience teaching people with special needs and disabilities.�¯�¿�½
