Podcasts currently offer an alternative to traditional streaming or on-air radio stations. A podcast is a downloadable file that is available through a website or can be subscribed to with an aggregator (like iTunes). Industrial Radio’s DJ, Jon Murphy, handpicks bands and tracks and works them into great 45 – 60 minute shows. If you’re looking for the next great, but currently unknown band, you’ll find it on Industrial Radio. Current single band podcasts have included Adaptor, PAIL, and Black Snake Moan. Currently, Industrial Radio is only available through RSS subscription, but Doppler podcast aggregator software is available on-site. With podcasts and a portable mp3 player, you can take Industrial Radio with you anywhere you go.

Rue Morgue Radio

Rue Morgue Radio bills itself as The World’s Original All Horror Broadcast and it does its best to live up to that title. The music is eclectic, ranging from the metal stylings of Rob Zombie and Judas Priest to the more early rock sounds of bands like Zombina and the Skeletons. Mixed into the play list are sound clips horror movies, movie reviews, and interviews with horror personalities. Though not entirely goth, the show is always an entertaining way of celebrating the taste of Halloween all year long. The station is not continuously streaming, but offers a new show every Friday. Shows can be played in their own popup player (Flash 8 required), downloaded from the site in a zip format, or subscribed to via iTunes. Shows are around 30 to 45 minutes in length.
