In the event you get a taste for great Italian food, here is a list of the top Italian restaurants in Destin. You won’t be disappointed by any of these!
TONY’s RISTORANTE
Tony’s Ristorante has been voted best casual Italian restaurant. It is located next to RAVE Motion Pictures at Destin Commons. Enjoy delicious lunch or dinner dining in a simple, modern, yet not-quite Italian atmosphere. You also have a choice of sitting outside. Tony’s offers a variety of mouth-watering specialites such as pasta dishes, pizza, calzones, strombolis, fresh salads, and lots more! Their fried ravioli is a popular dish. I have to say, it tastes great! Tony’s also serves beer and wine. There is also a kids menu available.
CAFÃ?Â? GRAZIE
CafÃ?© Grazie has two locations: Orange Beach, Alabama and Destin, Florida. At Destin’s CafÃ?© Grazie, enjoy traditional Italian dishes and seafood. True Italians have commented that the food here is “just like mama used to make”. Some menu items include lasagna, cannoli, veal, and naples. Their Eggplant Parmesan Spaghetti is out of this world! The oil and garlic at the table is delicious with the hot Italian bread. The waiters are timely and nice. Overall, service was wonderful. CafÃ?© Grazie also has several daily specials. Entrees and wine are very reasonably priced. At CafÃ?© Grazie, you will enjoy some of the best Italian in Destin without spending a fortune.
GRAFFITI
This Italian restaurant is a true hidden treasure! It’s a small restaurant located near the Destin bridge. The wait staff is extremely friendly and helpful in aiding you in your entrÃ?©e choice. The fish is fresh and artfully prepared. There is a playhouse for the kids with toys in a corner of the lounge, which is in a side room. White paper and Crayola crayons are placed on every table for you to draw and doodle on. It certainly keeps kids busy! The oil and garlic dip as well as fresh hot bread is tasty without filling you up before your meal. While you wait, gaze around the restaurant at the many, many artwork pieces on the walls and ceilings. In a short time, you will be devouring exquisitely prepared pizzas, pasta, and seafood. The creamy chicken fettuccini alfredo, for example, is an A-plus! Their crawfish pasta is also quite savory! Graffiti is the perfect place to take your family and children.
CIAO BELLA
Ciao Bella features Italian and pizza specialties. It is a little restaurant at the foot of the bridge in Destin. It is beside McGuire’s Pub, and never too crowded. The pizza at Ciao Bella is the best in town! Their thin-crust pepperoni pizza is my personal favorite. I also get their fresh Caesar salad as well. Unlike many pizza makers, Ciao Bella pizza’s are not overly greasy. So, I don’t have to worry about yellowish orange grease running down my fingers! Their traditional Italian food is also good. They offer indoor dining in a clean and new restaurant or outdoor dining overlooking the highway. Ciao Bella is open for both lunch and dinner, and they offer beer and wine.
