Great Explorations is a hands on children’s museum. They offer a range of birthday parties. The Basic Birthday Party will get you: free all-day admission, a party room for 1.5 hours, primary colored decorations, vanilla ice cream, drinks, one hands on activity and 20 guests. The difference in the Great Themed Party is: thirty minute longer party, themed invitations, themed decorations, a themed activity, a themed game, goodie bags, and you can invite 10 more guests. The Themed Sleep Over requires a minimum of 20 children and there must be one adult per five children. Talk about an action-packed birthday! On the Mat Martial Arts provides three different packages for birthday parties. All packages are at the place of training and children are lead through a series of basic martial arts moves. Package 1 includes a two-hour party with up to 20 kids. They also receive a free weeklong pass. Package 2 is the same as 1 except each kid receives a tee shirt. Package 3 is the same as 2 except it includes special introductory rates for joining, and a uniform. There are two staff present at each party. With the current popularity of pirates, I couldn’t resist this particular place. Though not in St. Petersburg, it is mere hop, skip, and a jump, away. This Pirate Ship provides birthday parties for children ages three and up. The parties include treasure hunts, water gun battles, face painting, pirate stories, dancing, music and drinks. Plus, the entire staff and crew is dressed to the hilt in pirate outfits and they talk and act like pirates too. Though it’s a little spendy, up to 40 passengers can come along and what a memorable party!
