The McKinley Museum of History, Science, and Industry is one of the most enjoyable places I have ever visited, having been there several times since I was a small child. With sections divided for history, science, and industry, you get to visit each in turn. The McKinley museum is not meant to be viewed, but instead explored and interacted with. The science center contains robots and other science objects you can touch and experiment with. The history section contains robot dinosaurs that move and roar, Native American huts and artifacts you can explore, and archaeological sand pits you can explore and keep what you discover. If you are looking for an attraction for the entire family, or somewhere kid-friendly, the McKinley museum is the place to be.

Cost: Adults are $7, Senior Citizens age 60 + are $6, and children over the age of 5 are $5. Children under the age of 5 are free. There’s also the option to become a member, which has additional perks.

Another wonderful attraction I have personally visited many times, the Canton Museum of Art is free to view, and often hosts many extra exhibits, some free, others not. They also offer many classes, including: pottery, painting, drawing, jewelry, and many more. If you enjoy viewing a wide array of artwork, including sculptors and water art, then the Canton Museum of Art is a quiet and peaceful place to satisfy your artistic desires.
