Two Stanzas Written After the Inevitable Failure

There will always be poets to rely on,
Long as the wind pushes its rage on my
shoulder

The decade of youthful success is by-gone
Follow in its delight, when the truth is bolder

Ah, new verses that don’t indicate self-pride
And these ugly eyes close to no inspiration
To suffer a cold fate pushing dreams aside
Then myself: a blank-canvassed (Creation)
