The most important being storing personal care products, getting clean, and other even more pertinent things (you can guess what those could be).

It only makes sense to keep this space as clean as possible. But instead of buying expensive and dangerous cleaning chemicals, why not just use what you have already lying around to do the job. Vinegar and baking soda can do wonders. Sinks, toilets, and floors can be cleaned by mixing baking soda and warm water. Once fully scrubbed just rinse with more water to complete the clean. Baking soda is also great to get rid of odors too. For even worse dirt and grime, try 2 tablespoons of salt with 2 teaspoons of vinegar with a bowl of warm water and mix into a paste. This can be applied to a sponge to get rid of those stubborn surfaces.

Don’t throw away those old toothbrushes! These are great for reaching those hard to get at locations in your bathroom for the most complete clean. Just remember not to confuse these toothbrushes with the ones that you use for your teeth!

Lemon juice is not only good to drink it makes a great cleaner too. Mixed with borax, 1/2 cup borax and 1/2 cup of lemon juice until it forms a paste — it makes a great toilet bowl cleaner. First flush the toilet to wet the inside of the bowl. Then slip on some rubber gloves and use a sponge to place the paste around the bowl. Let it sit for a couple hours, then scrub using a toilet brush and flush.

Hey whoa, don’t throw out that Christmas tree just yet! Lay out a tarp or sheet on the ground and shake tree over for a few moments. Pick up the tiny tree needles and place in a bowl. This makes a great air freshener to be used in the bathroom for months to come after Christmas is long gone.
