The water park is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. The only time the water park closes is if the weather is really bad. The admission prices to get into the water park to enjoy is $8 for adults and $6.50 for children and seniors. At the water park there are several life guards on duty to insure the safety of the people in the park at all times if something were to occur.
At Waves Water Park you must be at least 48 inches tall to slide down the water slides. One of the best water slides to slide down inside of Waves Water Park is the “Aqua Tube.” Another fun attraction inside the water park is the wave pool where you can check a wave or two and get really wet. If your not into the wave pool though there is a lazy river you can float down if you wanted to. Another thing you could do is sit in the sun or splash and swim around in a crystal clean swimming pool. This water park is small, but it really is the best place to cool off in Hurricane, West Virgina.
Some of the items you are not allowed to bring into the Waves of Fun Water Park are pets, drinks, food, your own pool toys or floats, and coolers. The water park will supply food and drinks for you inside the water park or you can leave the park and grab something to eat that you may have brought instead and then go back to enjoying the water park. Another thing they do not allow in any of the pools are cut off shorts or shirts. The water park requires you to wear a swimming suit if you are going to slide down any of their water slides and swim in any of their wave pools. This water park can be a little strict, but I think its for the peoples safety.
