Welcome to Taylor Michigan
are all kind of fun things to do here. Some free and some really cheep things for the
whole family.
Heritage park is the first place you would want to stop at. If its happening in Taylor
more then likely this is the place where its happening at. Heritage park has a walkway
where you may walk around coan lake and look at ducks. During your walk you may enjoy
some of the many Historical buildings we have. Stop in for an ice cream on the way. Have
children, there are many things for them also. There is a baseball field. Grab a ball and mitt
and have a nice game with your children. There is a huge play area for the children as well.
Do they have some extra energy you would like them to burn?? Bring a kite with you, there
is a big open field for kite flying. There are free concerts available at the west mound church.
Maybe art is something you like. Then come to art in the park. This event is in June every year.
Summer festival is in July. There are all kind of things during this. There are fireworks, carnival and
concerts to name a few. There is also a petting farm. The children may interact with different kinds
of animals. They can pet them and hold some of them. The staff there is always eager to help
and make it fun for the children.
Shopping is another thing in Taylor. There are all kind of strip malls. And there is southland
mall. This is the place to go for all your shopping needs. From electronics to food to clothes.
Lots of places to stop and take a break to get something to eat.
Another great place to go for the more athletic people. The Taylor sport complex. This is newly
built. There are lots of great things to do in here. Inside they have two NHL size ice rings. Did you
forget your skates? Thats OK they have some you can use there. Skating not really your thing, Thats
OK also. There are two places to play soccer indoors also. There are many games and arcade items
as well. Stop in and take a peak, you wont be sorry.
There are so many great things to do in Taylor. I would sit here writing for a very long time.
There are a lot of scheduled events to go to also. And a lot are free, and great fun for the
