We live in the age of technology, and it seems that there is not one home nowadays that is without a computer. But so many people are now getting laptops instead of desktops how do you know which will make you feel closer to living like a celebrity? The first thing you need to do is figure out what you will be using the computer for most often. Will it be for personal or just school use? Will you have to print? The latest things seem to be the slightly more expensive smart phones, and PDA form-factor phones. Another thing that may help you to determine whether a desktop computer is actually better than a laptop computer or if you want to go with the PDA is the price. Everyone knows that laptops are just as expensive as desktop computers. But the price for a celebrity looking PDA is a lot cheaper. In addation I have found through the course of my research that many laptops don’t come with many programs at all. They cost just as much as a desktop computer but you are really not getting as much as you would with a desktop computer.
If of course you have no budget and money is no object then your decision would be based soley on your particular needs. But if you are like most people in the world you will need to stick to a budget and try to get the best deal for your money. So the bottom line as to if you should buy a desktop computer, a laptop or a PDA really depends on your own personal need as a teen going for the celebrity look.
One additional thing that you will want to keep in mind is that no matter what device you choose, if you have internet acces than all of your information is public record, and just like celebrities your personal information can be stolen.
