Specifications

This dryer comes with a one year warranty for the parts and labor. With its gas operation it provides a very quick drying speed, allowing for your cloths do be done in a much more time efficient manner. Unlike some washers and dryers, the Whirlpool Cabrio Gas Steam Dryer does not stack. But the unbeatable thing about this unit is its space. At seven cubic feet, you can fit a large load of wet laundry in it, speeding up the process. The drum and interior finish of the unit is steel, providing a nice look. The controls are located on a rear panel that operate electronically. The Whirlpool does not have a delayed start or an extra-delicate cycle. However, it does have an end-of-cycle signal and an interior light, both useful in their own ways. The power ratings are as follows: 120V; 60Hz; 15 or 20 amps. The door hinge on the unit is reversible and the color category is stainless. This unit is also not ENERGY STAR Qualified and does not allow for special orders.

The Dimensions

The dimensions of this unit are rather bulky. It is 42″ high, 29″ wide, and 30-1/8″ in depth. The weight of the unit is approximately 150 pounds. The door on the dryer is 51-1/2″.

Conclusion

My rating for this unit can be seen above. I offer it a good rating because I’ve personally used this device at a friend’s house. I know for a fact that it is rather on the bulky side, but well worth it. The efficiency of this unit outweigh the negative aspects, such as no delayed start or extra-delicate cycle, which must be taken into account. If you have delicates in your laundry and need an extra-delicate-cycle, then this device is DEFINITELY NOT for you. I recommend looking at a dryer that does in fact have this specific cycle.

Estimated Price

If you’ve decided that this unit is in fact for you then expect to pay around $950.00 for it. It is a rather high price, but well worth it. I believe in paying for quality.
