Zetacap, What’s Up with This New Gastric Bypass Pill?
I am not a big fan of getting Gastric Bypass surgery, for one I have heard of people dying or being fatally ill after going through with it. I think that the pill may be a lot less dangerous than undergoing the extensive surgery; however, it is still a little sketchy to me.
So what exactly is this new pill phenomenon? Zetacap capsules are individual pills that fill up the stomach so that a person doesn’t feel hungry. A person will have to take one or two pills before a meal with an 8oz glass of water. The pill will begin to absorb the water and will fill their belly with a jelly fiber substance that will make them feel like they just ate a full course meal. This pill will help people feel full for up to 6 hours and they will want to eat much less. The main ingredient in the pill is fat free and has no calories. The price of a month supply of Zetacap costs about $87.00.
Milton Stokes, M.P.H., R.D., stated in an America Online news article that “If sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” He continued to state. “The Web site says it contains 16 all-natural ingredients, but the sun is natural and so is tobacco.” He is not the only one skeptical of this new pill, but many other physicians are too. The fibers in the capsules are believed to be just a high-powered supplement that they are over charging for. A person can get the same fiber from downing a glass of Metamucil or just eating fruits and veggies that are high in fiber.
I have to agree that this product just seems to good to be true. If it works, great, but if not I feel sorry for all of the suckers that are going to end up spending hundreds or even thousands on this product only to be disappointed. I believe that old fashion nutritional eating and exercise is the best way to lose the weight. Hey just look at that guy that walked from California to New York. It only took him a year to drop the pounds.
