City University London was established in 1894 as a Public Research institute in the area of Northampton in London. Its first name was Northampton Institute that was later changed to its current name after the award of the University status in 1966.     How to Get to City University London

    By Tube
    Northampton Campus is served by the Angel and Feringdon tube stations. Angel is at 0.2 mile distance from Goswell Road, whereas Farringdon tube station is at 1 mile distance which may take 15 minutes walk, or 12 minutes from a public transport to reach the location of the university. View Map

    Using a bus can be a perfect option to reach the City University London since a number of buses have scheduled their routes towards it. The bus stops are located at a few minutes walk from the entrance and exit pathways of the university. On St. John Street, Stop UK and UF with route number 153 are closest to it.
