Apology Email to Professor
Being a student at a college or university clearly indicates that you are still very much in the learning stage, which is why you often end up committing mistakes, both consciously and unconsciously. Among the many things that you can possible do wrong at the college or university, offending the professor or hurting their feelings is one of the gravest offences. If you or your class is guilty of such an offence, then you should apologise to your professor without wasting any time. An apology email is an apt way of conveying your regret to your professor.
While writing an apology email to your professor, start off by expressing your regret and shame for doing whatever is was that you or your entire class did to make the professor mad.
Try to offer some sort of an explanation for your actions in the second paragraph. Make sure you do not try to justify your actions through the explanation.
In the final paragraph, assure your professor that you will never make the same mistake again.

Please allow me to apologise on behalf of the entire section D of third semester for all the chaos that we created during yesterday’s class. We have all realised our mistake and are ashamed of indulging in such inappropriate behaviour.
Sir, I assure you that there is not even a single one of us who does not think that our actions during yesterday’s class were inexcusable and immature. We crossed the limits by laughing loudly and playing songs on our cell-phones while you were delivering the lecture. The way you left the lectured disgusted made us realise instantly that we had indeed stepped out of the boundaries of morality and etiquettes.
I, on behalf of the whole section D, assure you that we are indeed very sorry and ashamed and promise that such a thing will never happen again. We are also ready to accept whatever punishment you decide for us.
