Dear Mr. Hamilton,
I hope you find this email in the best of health and spirits. The purpose of this email is to check the progress of my application that was submitted on December 25, 2012. As per your advertisement in the local newspaper, I submitted my application along with a covering letter and CV. I was advised that I will be notified about the status of my application by the end of December but that did not turn out to be the case. Right now, I am unaware about the progress of my application.
I would also request you to inform me about the provisional dates of the interview. It will be very kind of you if you can also inform me about the dates of the selection procedures.
If you want more details about my qualifications and professional experience, please do not hesitate to contact me at 5555-555 or howardjones@abc.net.
Sincerely,
Howard Jones -
