Balham Preparatory School London
Balham Preparatory School has been serving the Muslim community of southwest London as an independent school under the sponsorship of Balham Mosque since 1993. The school provides care and education to children between the ages of 3 to 4 and 11 to 16, while it enrolls about 500 pupils in a year in the two main sites it has. Nursery pupils study on the ground floor of the newly constructed building, while the secondary school students acquire their education in the Tooting Islamic Centre. The administration has also provided separate floors for boys and girls that are secondary school students. Currently, Al-Risaala Educational Trust owns the school and runs it with an aim to produce valuable assets for the society with its focused studies on character building, religion, new technology and Islamic values.
