Bank Tube Station London
Located at Kings William Street in the City of London, the Bank tube station was opened in 1900 at Bank junction, and it is currently served by the northern, central, and city lines. As far as its name is concerned, the tube station was named after the Bank of England.
In 1933, the Monument station was linked with the Bank station, and this has become a complex interchange known as the Bank-monument complex, which has 10 platforms and 1 fare zone. Basically, Bank tube station is interlinked with the Monument tube station, and it is called Bank-Monument station – officially, these two stations are one, but both have separate entrances and names.
The entrances and exists are from a number of routes, and these include (but are not limited to) Canon Street, Cornhill (North) Royal Exchange # 4, Eastcheap Great Tower Street, Cornhill (South) Royal Exchange # 5, King William Street (South), and Lombard Street & Kings William Street, #6.
In addition to transport, the station also provides facilities that include special car parking for disabled commuters, wheelchairs and lifts, assistance for blind or partially blind people when they are buying a ticket or going to the platform, as well as pushchairs for people who have a lot of luggage.
