Barnes Primary School was created in 1903. Currently there are 400 full time students in 14 classes and a total of 52 students attend nursery classes on a part time basis, which are for three hours a day. The school has a staff of about fifty, including teachers and as well as other members. Barnes Primary School has an objective to serve the community at the best of their capabilities. The curriculum offered here is chalked out in a way to prepare the students for their practical life commitments. The children graduate from this school after having achieved high standards in the basic skills of reading, writing and arithmetic.
