Campari & Orange Cocktail Recipe

Campari & Orange Cocktail is an extremely easy drink to make that should appeal to those people who love the classic bitter beverage Campari. During the hot days of summer, Campari drinks are what most of the people crave. Campari is actually an Italian spirit that has a very distinct red colour and a bitter taste. You have to keep it in mind that there are some other Italian brands available in the market with more or less the same colour and the same taste as of Campari. However, we will not recommend you to buy any bitter other than Campari. Although the original Campari is a bit expensive than the rest of the competitor brands but it will provide you with the best quality that is worth the extra price that you pay. This recipe makes four drinks and this sun-soaked refresher is a great sipper for your upcoming party.

Ingredients:

– 120 ml Campari
– 1 1/2 cup ice cubes for serving purpose
– 3 cups fresh orange juice
– Orange slices for serving purpose

    Properly clean your work surface before putting together this tasty drink. Remember to also wash your hands thoroughly. You will also want to wash all the utensils, glasses and other items that you will use to prepare this recipe. It is a good idea to make a habit out of keeping your work area clean in the kitchen to avoid any health issues later on.

    Take six fresh properly peeled oranges. Put them in a blender and blend until smooth. Put the orange juice in three cups through sieve to get the seeds. Now three cups of fresh orange juice is ready, set it aside or put it in refrigerator. Make sure that the oranges are fresh as you can also use organically grown fruit for this recipe.

    Meanwhile, equally distribute the ice cubes among the four properly chilled 1 1/2 cup-capacity highball glasses. It is entirely up to you as to the type of glasses that you want to serve this drink in. Also, be sure not to put too many ice cubes in your glass as you do not want your beverage to be too watery.

    Divide 120 ml Campari among the four glasses and top it with the fresh orange juice. Stir the mixture to mix all the ingredients. Remember if you want your cocktail a little light then you can always use a reduced amount of Campari. However this is entirely up to your own personal taste.

    Serve immediately with orange slices. You can also use other items for garnishing your cocktail as it is up to you how you present and serve this tasty cocktail to your friends or family.
