Chai Tea Latte Recipe with Tea Bag

Ingredients:
Chai tea bags: 2
Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
Ground ginger: ½ teaspoon
Ground allspice: ¼ teaspoon
Water: 1 cup
Milk: 1 cup
packed brown sugar: ¼ cup
French vanilla nondairy creamer – refrigerated: 2 tablespoons
Whipped topping and ground nutmeg – optional

Instructions

    Take a coffee maker and place the 2 chai tea bags in its filter.

    Top the tea bags with 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon of ground ginger, and ¼ teaspoon of ground allspice.

    Pour in 1 cup of water and brew the tea according to the manufacturer’s instructions given on the package.

    In the meantime, combine ¼ cup of packed brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of finely refrigerated French vanilla nondairy creamer in a small non-sticking saucepan.

    Top the sugar-vanilla mixture with 1 cup of milk and bring it to boil over medium heat. Stir the mixture until the ingredients mix and the sugar dissolves completely.

    Remove the pan from heat and use a strainer to carefully pour the milk-mixture into the two mugs, dividing equally. Now stir in the previously prepared tea.

    Garnish the Chai Tea Latte by dolloping some whipped or sprinkling some ground nutmeg over the top – if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
