Chancellor Cocktail Recipe
Chancellor is a cocktail made from Scotch whisky, ruby port, French vermouth, and orange bitters. You can also dash of Peychaud’s bitters. This nicely dry variation on the Manhattan is best to be served on different occasions around the year. The right amount of Port and Vermouth balance the sharp edges of the Scotch whisky and charge you taste buds with a slightly smoky and medicinal cocktail. You can make slight changes in the ingredients of Chancellor cocktail in order to come up with different flavours. Make a light and refreshing Chancellor Cocktail with this easy recipe, which make just one drink. However, you have an open choice to increase the quantity of all its ingredients according to the number of your guests or the family members. Chancellor cocktail is better served in a martini glass and it is always better to garnish it with orange zest twist.

Ingredients:
(2 ounces) blended Scotch whisky
(1 ounce) ruby port
(1/2 ounce) French vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters
Cracked ice
Orange zest twist for garnishing- optional

Place one of your favourite martini glasses in refrigerator until chill properly.

Meanwhile, take a cocktail shaker and half fill it with cracked ice.

Pour 2 ounces of blended Scotch whisky, 1 ounce of ruby port, 1/2 ounce French vermouth and 2 dashes of orange bitters into the cocktail shaker.

Now, close the lid of your cocktail shaker thoroughly and shake it for few seconds until all ingredients mix well.

Take out the martini glass from refrigerator and strain the Chancellor Cocktail into it. Garnish your drink with orange zest twist if you want and serve immediately.
