Couscous Cucumber Salad Recipe

Utensils: kettle, bowl, Spoon, medium sized bowl and plate.

Ingredients:

– 300g (10 oz) uncooked couscous
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 7 tablespoons lemon juice
– 3/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
– 1 cucumber, seeded and chopped
– 1/2 bunch finely chopped spring onions
– handful chopped fresh parsley
– small handful chopped fresh basil
– 6 leaves cos lettuce
– lemon wedges to garnish

    Take a bowl and place couscous in it.

    Pour 400ml water in the kettle to heat. When the water boils, pour it over couscous. Let it stand for 5 minutes but keep it covered. Then, uncover it and put it to cool at room temperature.

    Then take a medium sized bowl and combine oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper in it. Blend them with other ingredients; parsley, cucumber, basil, spring onion and couscous and combine them until all the ingredients mix well.
