Crab and Grapefruit Salad Recipe
The Crab and Grapefruit Salad is a fresh, aromatic, tangy salad that delivers a good kick from the lemon and its juice. The colors and flavors of its ingredients marry together perfectly and provide you with a colorful and delicious dish. It is always better to make the Crab and Grapefruit Salad just before you are ready to serve or eat so that it stays as fresh and scrumptious as possible.

Utensils needed: Knife, large mixing bowl, four medium salad bowls, refrigerator, whisk or spoon to mix ingredients
Ingredients:
– 300g guacamole (an avocado-based sauce)
– 1 grapefruit – pink grapefruit is preferred
– 350g crab meat – well drained
– 50g cashew nuts – roughly crushed
– 2 shallots – finely chopped
– 2 teaspoon dill- finely chopped
– Lemon juice – fresh, if possible
– 4 Lime slices for garnishing – optional

Take four medium salad bowls and place them in your refrigerator until you make the salad.

Meanwhile, pick one fresh grapefruit and peel it properly. Now, segment the grapefruit and cut each segment into two. Place these slices of grapefruit in a large mixing bowl.
Note: You can use any type of grapefruit you like but the pink grapefruit is always preferred for this salad. -

Top the grapefruit slices with 350g of well-drained crab meat, 50g of roughly crushed cashew nuts, two finely chopped shallots, two teaspoons of finely chopped dill, and some fresh lemon juice.

Add in the 300g of guacamole and season the mixture to taste. Now, whisk the mixture until the ingredients merge into one another thoroughly and smooth.

Remove the four salad bowl from refrigerator and set them in front of you. Now, divide the crab mixture among the bowls and garnish them with fresh lemon wedges, if you like.
