Deep Fried Mozzarella Ball Salad Recipe

The Deep Fried Mozzarella Ball salad is a unique salad as it involves frying cheese balls in olive oil which is served with a vinegar filling. The mozzarella cheese balls are fried in a deep pan after being coated with egg and breadcrumbs and is then served with a dip made up of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Ingredients:
– 1 ½ cup of mozzarella cheese balls
– 1 cup of dried breadcrumbs
– 1 egg
– 1 cup olive oil
– ½ teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon dried basil
– 5 cups of mixed salad greens
– 1 chopped tomato
– 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
– ¼ teaspoon sugar
– Ground pepper

    First, mozzarella balls have to be prepared for the recipe and the salad can be made afterwards. In a small bowl, beat an egg first. In another small bowl, add the breadcrumbs and place it besides the egg bowl. Now drain the mozzarella cheese ball and clean them with paper towel until they are completely dry

    Dip each cheese ball in the egg bowl first and then into the breadcrumbs until the crumbs are fully coated on the mozzarella ball. Apply the same process on each cheese ball and make sure all the sides of the cheese ball are covered with the coating. Refrigerate for at least two hours

    Preheat the deep pan with olive oil and drop the mozzarella balls into the pan one by one. Make sure the pan is put on medium heat so that the cheese balls do not stick at the bottom of the pan. When the mozzarella balls turn golden brown, remove them from the pan into a dish slowly

    For the salad, add two tablespoons of olive oil and the balsamic vinegar and stir the mixture. Add pepper and sugar to the ingredients in the bowl and stir until everything is well combined. Serve the mozzarella cheese balls with the vinegar mixture immediately as the dish is best in taste when cold
