Difference between Juicer and Blender

Juicer and Blender are two important elements of every kitchen. They have a similar job to do, therefore people often confuse them with each other. Although both appliances treat vegetables and fruits, they have different functionality and usages.

When it comes to juice separation, unlike juicer – a blender does not separate the fiber and juice from each other. The main job of a blender is to rotate the sharp blade so quickly that the fruits are cut and broken down. On the other hand, a juicer extracts the juice from the fruits, and stores the fiber in a different container.

A juicer is not made for all the fruits. For instance, a juicer does not help when you want to blend a low-water-content fruit, such as banana. The blender, however, does not rely on the quantity of water in the fruit or vegetable. Its duty is to crush the item into small pieces.

Both appliances work differently than each other. The blender has a special mechanism for chopping. On the contrary, the juicer just sucks the liquid out of the fruit or vegetable. A blender usually has a very sharp blade that rotates a very rapid speed. On the other hand, the juicer has reamers that crush the fruit to separate the fiber and juice.

    Juicer

If you interested in drinking fresh juices, you need to have a juicer at home. A juicer is an electric machine that extracts the juice out of the vegetables and fruits through reamers.  The reamers don’t rotate. All you need to press the fruit a little, and the rest of the job will be done by the juicer. People usually use juicers to prepare Apple, Grapefruit, Lemon, Orange or Pine Apple juice.
