Klonopin
Klonopin’s generic name of clonazepam and it belongs to benzodiazepine drug class. The treatment of seizure disorders and panic disorders is done through this drug. It is very effective and directly show positive effects on neurotransmitter GABA.
Various kinds of diseases including severe liver disease, allergies, asthma, depression or suicidal thoughts, history of alcohol addiction and glaucoma are also treated by this drug. The closeness of this drug with Xanax is the main effective part. Xanax
Xanax is generic name of alprazolam and belongs to benzodiazepine drug while this drug works on the GABA neurotransmitter which basically brings down the tension on the nervous system. This class of drug treats anxiety disorders, anxiety resulted by depression and also panic disorders. While the treatment process, history of the patient with relative symptoms is very important. Though the course of action of Xanax and Klonopin is different but the side effects of Xanax and the other drug is quite similar. The main side effects will be suicidal thoughts, hallucinations, seizures, chest pain, insomnia, appetite changes, muscle swelling, blurred vision or memory. This drug is quite effective but you have to be careful that you do not get dependent on it. Many patients literally get addicted to the Xanax as their bodies get used to its excessive use.
