Difference between LG Optimus G Pro and Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Gone are the days when a mobile was no more than a device used only for making calls and sending texts. The latest smartphones work just like minicomputers and many big companies have stepped into this business to make their share of profits from this  really competitive market.

Most of latest smart phone designs, ensure that the graphic user interface is really big and uncomplicated so that the user can get the luxury feel. And when it comes to large-display devices, LG Optimus G Pro and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 are easily the leaders.

They may look like very similar, but there is a massive difference between their specifications. So, if you are interested in buying any of these two devices, make sure you know all the important differences.

The biggest difference is that they are made by different manufacturers. Samsung Galaxy Note II was released in August 2012, while the LG device hit the market in February 2013.

The dimensions of the Samsung device are 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm, and its weight is 183 grams. On the other hand, the LG device’s dimensions are 150.2 x 76.1 x 9.4 mm, but it is about 10 grams lighter than the Note II.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is available in various colours, such as Titanium Gray, Marble White, Amber Brown, Ruby Wine, Pink and Blue. The LG pro, however, comes only in two colours; black and white. There is a huge difference between their processors.

A Quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 processor is a part of the LG device. The Samsung mobile phone carries a Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 processor. As far as the camera is concerned, LG Optimus G Pro holds the edge. It supports a 13MP camera, which is way better than Samsung’s 8MP rear camera.

    LG Optimus G Pro

    It is not one of the famous devices. However, there are no questions over its functioning and fantastic features. It runs Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and has many good sensors, such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Since it is not popular, its price is way lower than other devices of similar specifications.
