Difference between Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid
People get married every day, in fact there are probably a number of weddings going on at this very point in time. A wedding is when a two people commit to each other for life, and agree to spend the rest of their lives with each other.
Now organizing and having weddings is no easy task. In fact, it is one of the hardest things to ever do. This is why, the bride and the groom tend to have some sort of help on their wedding. This is usually done with the aid of their friends. Women tend to turn to their female friends and assign a few of them to be their bridesmaids. However, one of these bridesmaids is usually the maid of honor.
The maid of honor, if anything can be regarded to be the chief bridesmaid. This is because, she is the one who is responsible for getting the rest of the bridesmaids together and making sure that they don’t mess up on the day of the wedding.
The bridesmaids are basically assigned jobs such as making sure that the bride has everything that she needs on her wedding day, and to ensure that the wedding goes according to the plan that was laid out. They have to entertain the guests and make sure that the event goes about flawlessly.
Now on the other hand, the maid of honor mainly has the same jobs, only she is given more responsibility. She is responsible for organizing the pre-wedding party for the bride and to make sure that all the bridesmaids are all up to date over what they have to do and what is expected of them on the day of the wedding.
She is also in-charge of handling the bridesmaids clothes and the brides, along with the ring that the bride has for the groom.

Bridesmaid
They are responsible for the weddings and for the bride and the wedding. They have to help organize everything, and act as a group of people who are almost always around the bride, helping her get through her wedding with ease. They also take care of the people who come on the day of the wedding, and help with the planning and post wedding activities.

Maid of honor
The maid of honor is the captain of the bridesmaids. She basically leads them in everything that they do and helps them organize and go about everything with ease. She is hand selected by the bride, and is usually the brides best friend in her normal day to day activities as well.
