Difference between Mohican and Mohawk
These days, everyone is looking to differentiate themselves from everyone else, as they are looking to create their very own identity and image. This image tends to reflect just who these people are, and just what it is that they are about.
Now people tend to go about this, by either changing their image, or changing their attitude towards things. This sees them pick a specific outlook and image. Normally this is done by picking certain clothes, certain ways to interact with people and in some cases, a very specific hairstyle.
Now hair styles have gone on to change quite a bit over the last couple of years. They are no longer all the same, since people tend to express themselves quite a bit via their hair.
Two of the hairstyles which are considered to be amongst the most rebellious are the Mohican and the Mohawk. Both of them are often mixed up, simply because of how similar they are. However, despite people assuming them to be the same, there is still a difference between the two.
The Mohawk is one where a person shaves the sides of their head, and then goes on to grow hair only on the top of it. This often leads to almost a skyscraper being formed on some people’s heads, while the rest of it stays shaved and all clean.
On the other hand, the Mohican is like a variation on the Mohawk. What the Mohican does, is that it allows you to grow a mount in the middle of your head. However, opposed to shaving off the sides altogether, it lets you grow some hair on the sides. This way, things look a lot more safer, as opposed to them being as rebellious as they are when you get only a Mohawk cut out into your head.

This is a hairstyle that sees you shave the sides of your head completely, and then sees you go on and grow out hair on the top of your head only. This is considered to be one of the most rebellious hairstyles out there.

Mohican
This is a variation on the Mohawk, and it is almost the same thing, with the only difference being that you get to keep hair on the side of your head, as opposed to shaving it completely.
