Difference between Neolithic and Paleolithic Age
Neolithic and Paleolithic are two eras tracing back centuries.
There are several differences between Neolithic and Paleolithic. One of the major difference between the two eras is that Neolithic era is newer than Paleolithic. Paleolithic era is typically called old Stone Age while the other is called new Stone Age.
People living in Neolithic era started using much more advanced tools than those in Paleolithic one, as they mastered the art of creating different simple machines and tools. Neolithic era began around 10,200 BC. The early inhabitants of this era belonged to parts of the Middle East and other Asian countries. On the other hand, People from Paleolithic era used heavier tools as they knew little about physics and its use. Paleolithic people were not as civilized as Neolithic tribes. Paleolithic people relied on hunting, fishing and other simple means to gather food. They did not have much expertise, and liked to live in caves carved out of mountains.

Neolithic Age
Like so many special eras of human history, Neolithic is also an era of human history. This ear is believed to the beginning of the transition from hunter-gatherer culture to more advanced culture. People in Neolithic era start relying more advanced tools and they also did farming to produce food.
The transition to the Neolithic economy, which is also called Neolithic revolution, expanded to different parts of the world and people quickly adopted customs and ways Neolithic people were known for. Where hunting was once the sole mean to get food, areas during Neolithic era began to see production of different crops and plants in a short period of time. The new trend paved the way for trade of crops and other valuable items. The Agriculture created the basis for a working society. Food production and stockpiling led to greater independence of the natural environment and formed the basis of population growth. This process took place about 12,000 years ago for the first time in the area of the Fertile Crescent, especially at the Taurus and Zagros Mountains.
The end of the Neolithic period was the regional onset of processing of copper that introduced and expanded to several parts of the world.

Paleolithic Age
Paleolithic age was the earliest and by some accounts the longest period of prehistory. In Europe and Asia respectively, Paleolithic era was the oldest section of the Stone Age. People living in this era were simple and did not much about things around them. They used simple tools made from wood and bone.
