Difference Between Twilight and Dusk
It is vital to know some things with reference to the observed movement of the sun with respect to earth. Only then can you understand the difference between twilight and dusk. There are a few terms interrelated and can assist in explaining the meaning of twilight. Be aware of the fact that dusk and twilight are two different concepts but they are related with respect to how the sun seems to move in the sky.
Make sure you know that twilight happens two times every day, despite it being usually related with dusk and sunset. Dawn is when the sun starts to show in the sky and twilight is the time when sunlight is spread across the sky to offer indirect lighting which is followed by sunrise that is when the sun can be seen over the horizon in early morning. The main difference between the two is that twilight is the moment in which evening light is visible indirectly by the sun, while dusk is a period when this light fades through the night. Dusk and twilight do not happen at a specific time each day, and that depends on a lot of things.

Dusk
Dawn is the time at which the sun’s light starts to brighten a place even though the sun cannot be seen at that instance. On the other hand, sunset is the moment when the sun cannot be seen, and dusk is the time in which the place gets dark. It occurs at the end of the day. Moreover, sunset is the period when the sun is not visible in the sky. The twilight is supposed to end at dusk as the light is taken over by darkness. As a result of this, dusk is when the light is no more and the night falls. Also dusk occurs just once each day. -

Twilight
It refers to two different moments. It is the time of day between sunrise and dawn, and also the time between dusk and sunset. The sunlight spreads in the upper atmosphere and lights the Earth’s lower atmosphere during this phase. This means that Earth is never completely dark or fully lit at any point of time. Painters and photographers love this moment and even early morning people love to see the sunrise. In this instance, the sun is below the horizon and cannot be seen. A natural light comes from the sun and spreads on the Earth.
