In order to style your hair, you first need to take a shower so that the hair is clean, and free of extra oil. Now, dry the hair and brush it, in order to remove tangles. It is always easier to style tangle-free hair.

Now, use your fingers to separate a section of hair at the front side of the head. You can choose the size of the section according to your personal liking, and the thickness of your hair. If you have a thicker mane of hair, then you can choose less hair, but if your hair is thin, then you will need to collect more hair in order to make the section more substantial.

Braid this section, using a comb to make sub-sections, and then secure it with elastic. Braid the hair with soft hands to avoid breakage.

You have to repeat this process on the other side as well, in order to have two braids of equal size on both sides of your face.

Then, you have to grab one braid and lift it over the crown of your head. You have to make sure that the tip of this braid reaches the root of the opposite braid.

Now, grab a bobby pin and use it to secure this tip in place.

It is then time to repeat the whole process on the other braid, in order to achieve a braided strand across the upper portion of your head.

If you do not like the bobby pins sticking out, clearly visible, you can push them under the braid; this will also enhance your look.
