Employment Rejection Letter

When a company needs applicants for a post, a host of individuals take part in the application process. Obviously, all of them cannot be hired or shortlisted. There are some applicants who are shortlisted by the respective Human Resource Departments for interviews and some of them have to be left out

The company has to inform the candidates who fail to qualify for the next step and for that the company has to send an Employment Rejection Letter. The letter informs the applicants with regret that they have not been successful. The document has to be written in a manner that it does not seem harsh as it conveys a bad news to the individuals who had taken part in the application process.

The employers should make sure that they keep is as simple as possible to avoid any further confusions to the applicant.

    This is in reference to your application for the post of Quality Control Manager in our company, Best Beverages Limited. I have to inform you with regret that your qualification and skills do not meet the expectations and the requirements of our Human Resource Department.

    The company wants to clear it out that the rejection does not mean that you are not capable for this post. However, there were some other candidates who were better qualified and have more experience in the field than you have. It was a very difficult decision for us to make.

    Finally, we were able to select an applicant who matched our requirements and was perfect for the post we offered.
