Equality and Human Rights Commission London
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is not a departmental public body in England. This commission was gathered under the Equality Act 2006 and eventually came into formation on October 1, 2007. Under this act the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for the enforcement and promotion of equality and unbiased laws in England, Wales and Scotland. Therefore, people can find its offices in all three states. This commission has responsibility for additional aspects of equality as well such as sexual orientation, age and religion. The EHRC has gained these responsibilities from the former 3 commissions called the Disability Rights Commission, the Commission for Racial Equality and the Equal Opportunities Commission.
