Espresso Martini Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

– 1 1/2 oz vodka
– 3/4 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur
– 1/4 oz white creme de cacao
– 1 oz cold espresso
– 1 glass crushed ice
– Brown cocoa for topping – optional

    Before starting you should clean the entire work surface that you will be using to prepare this lovely cocktail recipe. You will also want to thoroughly wash your hands, utensils, glasses and other items that you will be using to put together this mixture. It is a good idea to always keep your kitchen counters clean and free from any bacteria to avoid issues later.

    Take a cocktail shaker with strainer and fill it with crushed ice. Be sure to not use too much ice as this can make your cocktail watery.

    Pour 1 1/2 oz of vodka, 3/4 oz of Kahlua coffee liqueur, 1/4 oz of white creme de cacao and 1 oz of cold espresso into the cocktail shaker. If want you cocktail to be light then limit the amount of alcohol you use. This will not have a serious impact on the overall taste or flavour of this cocktail mix.

    Now, cover the cocktail shaker properly and shake gently it vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds or until all the ingredients mix well. Remember you want a smooth texture to the mixture so be sure to check the consistency regularly while shaking.

    Grab a highball glass and place few ice cubes in it. You can use whatever glasses you might have laying around the house.
