There are a number of institutions and smaller fashion exhibition places in London but most famous of them is London Fashion and Textile Museum, which has been arranging exhibitions and different fashion designing and textile related courses since 1950s. They also arrange guest lectures and tutorials by top fashion and textile experts from all around the world. It is also the only museum in United Kingdom that is genuinely arranging fashion exhibitions along with training courses.

Things to Do at Fashion and Textile Museum
The London Fashion and Textile Museum holds changing faces of fashion from 1947 to present. The collections mainly cover items that are related to the production of fashion products and some designer outfits including, Biba, Mary Quant, Balenciaga and Christian Dior. All of these items are shown in special exhibitions and guest lectures and they are also available to be lent for galleries and private exhibitions. -

Operational Hours of Fashion and Textile Museum
The museum opens from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm and remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Last admission allowed is at 4:15 pm. -

Ticket and Entry Requirements for Fashion and Textile Museum
To visit an exhibition, adult tickets cost £7 and if you are a student, you can get a discounted ticket at £5. Children under the age of 12 are free to enter. There is a fashion shop and a café in the museum, but there is no entry fee to visit both of these places. -

How to Get There
By Tube
If you wish to get to the Fashion and Textile Museum then the nearest tube station is London Bridge which serves Jubilee line and Northern line. On leaving the station head southeast on London Bridge Street towards Railway Approach and after 0.2 miles, turn left onto the St. Thames Street.
