Feta carrot Salad Recipe
Carrots are extensively used in salads and desserts and are widely loved for their sweet taste. Combined with Feta, they make a salad that tastes heavenly and enlivens up the dining table. What an exciting mix they make – the orange of the carrot and the white of the Feta combine to give us a rare treat. Carrots are known to help with ending night blindness while Feta in itself brings a sense of creaminess. We are adding a little lemon juice here to bring in a little tangy flavour. Preparation time: Twenty minutes
Serving size: Four people (increase ingredients in proportion for greater serving size)
Utensils needed: Salad bowl, spoon, chopper, grater
Ingredients:
– Four carrots
– 400 g Feta cheese
– Fresh coriander (1 dessert spoon)
– 1 diced cucumber
– 1 chopped Lettuce
– Fresh Lemon juice (1 table spoon)
– Olive Oil (1 dash)
– Salt and pepper according to taste

You will want to wash your hands and work area before staring to make this recipe. Also do not forget to clean all of the glasses, utensils and other items that you will be using to prepare this salad. Always keep your work areas clean to avoid any health issues.

Prepare all the vegetables. Dice the cucumbers, chop the coriander and Lettuce. Squeeze a lemon enough for a table spoon. Keep all the ingredients near you so that you do not have to move about for each one. Remember to be careful while dicing or chopping as you want to hold the items firmly so that they do not slip while cutting.

Grate the carrots on a grater. Be careful about hands and fingers as they may get hurt on the manual grater. Take your time as you grate the carrots. You will want a nice consistency for this recipe.

Put the carrots in a salad bowl. Toss in the rest of the ingredients. Mix them with the lemon juice and olive oil. Finally mix in cubed Feta. Keep checking the salad as you toss the ingredients as you do not want to break everything in to small pieces.

Add salt and pepper according to taste. Mix well to get the even taste you desire. Your salad is ready. Refrigerate till serving. Remember it is entirely up to as to the amount of seasoning that you will want to add to recipe.
