Fish House Punch Cocktail Recipe

Fish House Punch Cocktail is a strong and true classic drink, containing dark rum, Cognac, peach brandy, lemon juice, and simple syrup. There are many recipes of Fish House Punch but this recipe is easy to prepare and makes 10 drinks. This unique punch is best served in a pitcher or punch bowl over ice cubes, nicely garnished with fresh lemon wedges. Place 10 punch cups or white wine glasses along your punch bowl and ask your quests to take according to their need. The history of this amazing cocktail shows that it was first served at the Aka Fish House Club in Philadelphia, which is a Schuylkill Fishing Company. Equipments require: punch bowl or pitcher, larger spoon, 10 punch cups or white wine glasses

Ingredients;

(750 ml) bottle dark rum

(15 oz) Cognac

(7 1/2 oz) peach brandy

(7 1/2 oz) lemon juice

(7 1/2 oz) simple syrup

Thin lemon wedges for garnishing -optional

Instructions

    Take a punch bowl and place a block of ice in it. You can also use a pitcher if you do not have a punch bowl.

    Now, gradually pour the 750 ml of dark rum, 15 oz of Cognac, 7 1/2 oz of peach brandy, 7 1/2 oz of lemon juice and 7 1/2 oz of simple syrup into it.

    Garb a large spoon and stir the liquor mixture vigorously for few seconds until all ingredients mix thoroughly.

    Garnish your punch bowl with thin wedges of lemon and place it at the centre of your table, asking your guests to serve themselves.
